...or Club Wyndham Grand Desert... or Grand Desert Resort... (marketing/branding for this loc is screwy).
SERVICE & TRANSITIONS -- 👎 A chaotic lobby situation: loud, unintuitive, & a huge vehicle "prize" impeding coherent navigation of the space.
An overwhelming place to be during checkout or peak hours (FWIW I did checkin on Father's Day).
Concierge was slower than other Wyndhams I've visited, too much pomp & circumstance IMO, but hospitality was excellent on every level. Thankfully there's a virtual (text) concierge to streamline questions/requests.
The grounds are beautiful & public spaces are impeccably clean (⚠️mopping high traffic areas during checkout hour isn't safe FYI). Signage is both a little & a lot... even with their map it's easy to get lost initially.
11am late checkout

ROOM (1BR Apartment )-- 👍 A layout which felt very nostalgic, like an east coast duplex.
Lighting, storage, & spaciousness were A+.
Seating was stiff & dated, unfortunately. The blindness for any ergonomics also hampered work productivity. No competent workspace here or in the "business center", which is more of an improvised public library corner.
Birds regularly roost & tap on the windows, making the view a turn off💩. This is a solved problem in most places; not sure what the deal is here...
⚠️ The laundry detergent supplied is very harsh on clothes; I recommend bringing your own.⚠️
BED -- 👍 Instant relaxation. High thread count sheets, house-brand pillows, cozy comforters, & an amazing BeautyRest mattress.
The status quo Wyndham setup that always sleeps very very well.
BATH -- 👎 Small & underwhelming on maintenance/upkeep.
The vanity was sufficiently spacious, staged with a few stock toiletries. Their usual bath product line wasn't setup, which was a bummer because it's quite nice.
It wouldn't have made a difference tho because our sink was clogged & the water never seemed to heat up.
Shower experience was also poor. The tub was severely worn tub. Towels were rough, thin, & ready to be recycled/replaced.
TV/ENT./ACTIVITIES -- 👍 2 HD TVs supported by very functional entrainment centers. They're easy to connect & configure for game consoles or streaming devices.
Cable signal was crystal clear, providing a dense channel selection.
Outside the unit were activities GALORE: A highly social pool area, movie theatre, spa services, & a gym. All of these spotless, well-maintained, & the vibes were always friendly.
WI-FI & CELL RECEPTION -- 👍 Status quo unencrypted ~25 Mbps hotel WiFi. Good enough for work.
Cellular preformed perfectly.

FOOD & DRINK -- 👍 Not DoorDash friendly.
There's a variety of on-premise options for food, including: a snack market, Starbucks, & deli.
I tried the breakfast bacon & hash browns. It wasn't awful but was horrifically overpriced for generic-from-frozen sides.
Vending machines & water stations were well-positioned & available throughout the property.
In-room we had a full kitchen with all utensils needed to create delicious home cooked meals.
Appliances just aren't the latest nor greatest.
The sink installation feels like a practical joke: the dimensions are impractical & leak water everywhere.

✅ microwave
✅ fridge
✅ coffee
✅ tea
❌ wet-bar
❌ mini-bar
NOISE -- 👍 Surprisingly good acoustics sans the sound of kids running through halls.
LOCATION -- 👍Safe property with top notch security staff.
Smooth ride share pickup/drop-off experience + complimentary shuttles to the strip!
RECOMMENDATION & RATING 👍
Amenities & convenience couldn't be stronger at this price point.
Transitions & furnishings leave much to be desired.
I highly recommend this location for budget-friendly groups looking to have an off-strip experience.
