SERVICE & CHECKIN -- Kid friendly & pet friendly with parking & early checkin (free). 🙌.
The parking is a bit expensive: $37 self-park, $40 valet.
The in-person customer service was really strong here; the representative I worked with was very efficient, professional, and enthusiastic.
Phone service wasn't as consistent & training could be improved in the ability to transfer calls and program buttons (it was very hard to reach the right people from our room...).
LOBBY, ELEVATOR, CORRIDORS -- The lobby and garden areas are amazing. The aesthetic is very appropriate for the area with a swanky & serene vibe.
Elevators are very fast, spacious, & have a lot of helpful information posted inside.
I like the huge corridors and color scheme used but the hallway trash pickup isn't as frequent as it should be.
ROOM (guest room) -- We were really impressed with the housekeeping in the room-- exceptionally clean & the staging was cute. A++!
The layout is your typical L-shape, with balcony & hardwood flooring.
Lighting was excellent-- just so much natural light. The room was spacious enough for 2 & equipped with: full-size mirrors, ergonomic workspace, electronic (quiet) AC, & accent chair.
Cons: workspace is shared with entertainment center; no seating options on balcony; not much storage space; floorboards are warped & creek.
BED -- We slept in a double queen configuration, but it was painful.
The mattresses are soft, but not at all supportive-- bad combo. The pillows were as bad as other reviews mention; the (lacking) density makes them functionally useless & whoever is in charge of this stock did not properly evaluate.
Redeeming qualities? The headboard has a nice texture.
BATH -- Clean & beautifully staged by housekeeping.
The design is impressive, utilizing stone tiling to create a spa vibe. Lots of Oliva Farmacia toiletries are provided & the fixtures are well-chosen.
The polyester bathrobe felt so cozy.
Cons: water pressure is weak throughout; small space; towels are on the smaller side; slippers didn't fit.
TV & ENTERTAINMENT -- 55" LG HD Flat screen TV on a swivel base with universal remote & focal set top box.
Smart functionality is disabled as usual.
GoogleTV fully compatible.
WI-FI & CELL RECEPTION -- Complimentary wifi is encrypted with (occasionally) impressive speeds.
The QoS isn't tuned particularly well so performance ends up being flaky. Disconnects were frequent during our stay. Not the most stable for work.
Verizon service in the area was great.

FOOD & DRINK -- DoorDash friendly location.
The adjacent restaurant also offers in-room dining with entrees priced between $28-53.
There isn't much to accommodate those with multiple food allergies but the cocktails are good. Seasoning on the lamb entree was delicious!
Rooms are equipped with mini-coffee bars & medium mini fridges.
The mini-bar experience needs improvement. A key is required to unlock the cabinet containing the mini-bar fridge (a detail not communicated at checkin). The inventory isn't rotated as a result & the fridge isn't regularly cleaned.
Cons: The electronic & printed menus aren't in-sync, causing all sorts of confusion when ordering food; chef's choice lamb was overcooked.
NOISE -- 50-50 on loudness.
Half of the time it was quiet enough to relax & enjoy the tune of water fountains below. The remaining half was dominated by loud city noises, throughway traffic, & loiterers in the parking lot.
YMMV
LOCATION -- The area feels safe & there's a rich amount of culture to consume in the vicinity.
VERDICT
The flow here isn't the most cohesive & the customer experience could really benefit from increased attention to detail by management.
Yet, it's still a beautiful property with a lot to offer, providing a unique experience that is definitely worth checking out.
